What Can I Offer?
I am happy to work with whatever you bring and avoid using the traditional labels associated with mental distress. Instead I work from an existential perspective which takes into consideration the entire life of a person and how you can live a more accepting and meaningful life in spite of the suffering you may have faced. If you want to find out if we can work together the best thing to do is get in touch to discuss your difficulties with the free telephone consultation I offer. You can read more about my experience and background to understand the services and people I have worked with.
Person-Centred Approach
1:1 Counselling Therapy
Working together to live life more fully
In a nutshell 1:1 counselling therapy is a relationship which offers a non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. A space to be challenged and supported in shifting perspectives and deepening your understanding of self which helps to enable you to accept yourself and/or accept life realities.
Consultation
Assessment & Suitability
I offer a free telephone or Skype consultation of up to 20 minutes to discuss your difficulties and needs. If we decide that you would be better served by another practitioner or service I will signpost you appropriately. If we decide that you want to go ahead and schedule an appointment I will take some personal details from yourself - with your consent.
Online Services
Accepting Life Challenges
Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. With online sessions we can tailor the therapy to what suits you best whether that is via video chat or messaging.
